Residential Support Worker

  

Location: Manchester - M12

Pay: Competitive (dependant on experience)

Shift Pattern: Monthly rota, including sleep-ins


We are seeking dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our team at Regent House Care. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, therapeutic care to young people in our integrated service.


You will be part of a committed team that values the impact we make on the lives of children and young people. If you are adaptable, motivated, and hardworking, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to positively influence the lives of those in our care.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality therapeutic care to young people in a residential setting.
  • Work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the needs of our young people are met with the appropriate level of care.
  • Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for young      people.
  • Establish and enforce appropriate behavioural boundaries.
  • Facilitate recreational and creative activities to promote growth and development.
  • Teach and support the development of daily life skills.


Requirements:

  • Level  3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Valid UK Driving License (required for certain areas).
  • Passion, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to support young people from day one.
